Recently I have been working more with acrylic paint, often on paper. I return to favourite places and themes, celebrating shape and colour.
Using a collage made from small sketches of a familiar view, I aim to construct a rich depiction of the space, hopefully richer than a drawing made from a single perspective.
Recent work in acrylic medium. Showing at the Hampton Court Palace Golf Club alongside work of other members of the Fountain Gallery.
These paintings are on display at Crispon's Wine Bar, 14 the Green Ealing, W5 5DA
One of my favourite places to paint is near the sea. I make regular painting jaunts to the South Coast of England, namely Dorset and Hampshire.
These are some of my paintings that I think will make nice prints.
This work is experimental and exploratory; based on sketches made in my studio, my local park and the south coast of England and from small sketches by Constable.
I have made paintings based on frequent visits to San Diego California. The primary purpose of the visits was family, but there is always time for some sketching.
